The Jordan Companies were established in early 2002 to respond to an increasing demand for honest and responsible contractors, consultants, and construction managers in the Central Florida area. Our family owned companies and team members cumulatively have over 125 years of experience in the construction field within the Central Florida area.

Tom Jordan

Tom Jordan has over 30 years of construction experience in the Central Florida area. He spent the earlier part of his career working as a general contractor on a variety of commercial projects such as the Holiday Inn at Cocoa Beach, the Grand Cypress Golf Villas, and the Haines City High School Gymnasium. Prior to establishing The Jordan Companies, Tom spent 15 years at Disney where he managed the construction of many interesting and high profile projects including, the Feature Animation Design Studios, the GM Test Track at Epcot, and made major contributions to: The Disney Magic, Disney’s California Adventure, and Celebration among other projects. Since starting The Jordan Companies Tom has led the firm into the high end custom home and in-fill development market.

Tommy Jordan

Tommy is a certified professional engineer licensed to do business in the State of Florida. Tommy has been working in the development and construction industry for more than 12 years. He began his career in 1994 working on such projects as The Wild Arctic at Sea World, Disney’s Indy Race Track, and Disney’s Fantasia Golf Course. Prior to joining The Jordan Companies in 2002, Tommy has a significant portfolio of civil engineering experience as well as experience in land acquisition and residential infrastructure development. Tommy qualifies Jordan & Associates Consulting, Inc., as a professional engineering firm; leads the development operations for The Jordan Companies; and serves a project manager and client executive for a select group of clients. Tommy is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Daniel Jordan

Daniel is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Florida Civil Engineering Program. Daniel’s past work experience includes FDOT roadway design work and land development design. Daniel joins The Jordan Companies as a Project Engineer performing construction management services for heavy civil construction projects and master planned communities for clients such as the Reedy Creek Improvement District and Walt Disney Imagineering Real Estate Strategy and Development Team.

Neil Klaproth

Neil is a senior project manager with a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Duke University and a Masters Degree in Corporate Communications from Rollins College. Neil is a licensed Professional Geologist (P.G.) in the State of Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG). Neil earned experience as a project scientist and as a Project Manager. Neil completed projects ranging in scope from environmental assessments and pre-acquisition due diligence research to RCRA and CERCLA (Superfund) cleanup programs for the U.S. Navy in the greater Washington D.C. area. Neil also has extensive experience in water resource supply and policy in the Southeast and has worked closely with numerous regulatory agencies including nearly all of the Florida Water Management Districts and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). Neil also earned valuable experience with a national home builder as a construction superintendent and Land Development Project Manager. Neil also worked as Senior Engineering Inspector and Construction Manager for the site development and construction of a 24 million gallons per day (MGD) water treatment plant prior to joining the Jordan Team.

Shubhang Patel

Shubhang is a degreed civil engineer from the University of South Florida with more than four years of construction related experience in road building and bridge construction. Shubhang has served as a key project manager in many heavy construction and highway construction projects for the Reedy Creek Improvement District, Walt Disney Imagineering, and the Enterprise Community Development District.

Brent Schademan

Brent Schademan is a degreed structural engineer with more than five years of construction experience. Brent began his career as a superintendent for a hardscape contractor installing brick pavers and retaining walls for some of the finest neighborhoods in Central Florida. Brent earned his bachelor degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Central Florida in 2003 before joining The Jordan Companies the same year. Since that time, Brent has managed area development and roadway projects for the Baldwin Park Development Company and for the City of Orlando. In addition, Brent has managed the construction of many high end residential remodeling projects. Brent is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Jessica James Chan, CPSM

Jessica is the most recent member to be added to the team at The Jordan Companies. With eleven years of experience in the architectural, engineering and construction industry, she fills the new role as Director of Marketing. Ms. Chan is a Florida native and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Computer Science.

She holds the distinction of being a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM). This certification, provided through the Society of Marketing Professional Services, is only obtained after gaining hands on experience in the A/E/C industry for a minimum of four years and through successful completion of a rigorous exam. She is also very involved with the local Central Florida SMPS Chapter, serving on their Board of Directors currently as the Director of the Coordinator’s Club. She is also an active member of the Home Builders Association of Metro Orlando’s Sales and Marketing Council.

Richard Ruck

Richard is a superintendent with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. His background experience ranges from residential, to large retail to large steel buildings.

Bradley Stokes

Brad is a construction superintendent experienced in all facets of residential construction. He has over 12 years of experience in interior construction and fit out including metal framing systems, general and trim carpentry, drywall and textured finish systems, painting, tile setting and other finish trades. Brad has lead many of our EXPO kitchen and bath remodeling projects.

Marlise Wellborn

Marlise is CFO for the companies. She has over 15 years of broad based experience in the construction industry including administrative and financial functions. Her past experience included supervision of all phases of accounting, administration, human resources, IT, and EEO compliance reviews for a fast growing General Contracting firm. We are excited to have Marlise help our family company grow.
